Andrew originally hails from Upstate New York, but has called Portland home for 11 years now. A fundraiser with a degree in Theatre & Gender Studies, most recently, he worked for Zenger Farm and helped grow the Urban Grange. He sees Street Roots and the vendor program as part of the fabric of Portland and is excited to be on the team. When not putting the "fun" in "fundraising", you might find him sipping a microbrew, eating a bagel, cooking up something in his kitchen or randomly injecting Buffy quotes into conversation to see if people notice.
Our Friends Speak About Street Roots
Street Roots advocates for those folks who don’t have a voice and you and your team work diligently, and with great humanity, humility and grace to bring those stories center stage for food, housing, healthcare and social justice. Portland is lucky to have an organization like Street Roots to help us understand the complexities of homelessness, politics and the community.- Tamara Pedrojetti, Community Relations Manager and SafeLink Program Manager, CareOregon
